One 2 Many Server

iPoint Media One 2 Many Serve
The Visual Theater, One2Many application allows PC desktop users to subscribe to live content based value added services, which involve a distribution of video and audio streams from a single source to multiple destinations. Unlike streaming video, each viewer in turn can talk with the presenter or other conference participants.
Highlights
Integrated firewall traversal solution: desktop users can be located behind a firewall, and use a private IP. Simply works in all environments

Intelligent stream management improves video quality over non-guarantied quality of service networks, this is the typical case in Cable/DSL environments

No setup is required on the desktop side. The browser plug-in is free

Desktop users connect from a service portal, and dynamically created links.

MCU-Link server
The Visual Lecture MCU-Link application a allows a service provider (or an enterprise) to give service to a new class of users: those connected outside the corporate network, (for example, desktop users working from home or remote locations, non-members of the organization and others) which otherwise could not connect to video services, due to network performance and security issues (firewalls). The application uses a classroom type model (teacher, students)
The Visual Lecture MCU-Link is designed for a service provider hosting environment, and can be scaled to service a large number of users.

Highlights

Software only solution, no additional costs on the user side.

Integrated firewall traversal: desktop users can be located behind a firewall, and use a private IP. No security hassles.

No setup is required on the desktop side. The browser plug-in is free

Desktop users connect from a conferencing portal, and dynamically created links.

The Visual Lecture MCU-Link platform has also been branded for Sony.

The MCU-Link can also function as a bridge between desktops, and legacy video conferencing systems and services. For example, a single MCU conference can be distributed to multiple desktop users, which can be connected behind a firewall, or outside the corporate LAN. The architecture is illustrated in the following diagram:
